Upon building my animation, I began to think about the idea of the quiz and deciding what type of cake you are. I began the quiz and found out really quick how hard it was to code that many buttons into the animation itself and still keeping them in order and linking to the right frames. The idea was a very simple and smooth designer feeling behind what is a simple quiz that people take on the internet. I would have loved to make a bigger quiz but time restraints with work and other projects made it very difficult. But over-all I am happy with the work that i came out with, the only thing I would like to work on a little more is the idea of the quiz being larger.
I really enjoy the concept. The splash page is very well designed and pleasing to the eye.
ReplyDeleteThe same can be said about every individual page.
However it doesnt feel like a homogenous work. Each page goes beyond having its own feel and into being completely disconnected from eachother.
I also want more questions.
The quiz is the right direction to move in, but I miss the bakery scene we talked about in class. I think the environment and the texture is what makes this project, and I only really find seductive texture in the first frame.
ReplyDeleteI would suggest finding a more sexualized question than favorite color, and involve some type of animation other than fonts and backgrounds to really involve the quiz taker.
At this stage I think your project is incomplete, however, your task was probably more bold than the rest of ours, so maybe before the semester ends you can transplant an enviornment or mood into the piece.
