interior of bakery

  1. The concept is strong and very defined. I think the success of this site will depend 100% on execution. I'd try and make sure that each element is part of the same language, same aesthetic. If you are going to build your bakery digitally, I think all of the other elements (cake, faces, etc) , should be rendered as well.

All photos would work well too. Just pick a world and stay in that world.

Also, I get the cake analogy, but I was not aware of it before. While this may defeat the simplicity of your project, it might be good to have a short introduction or an About page that helps to explain what is going on (how and where the metaphor applies).

  2. Yea execution is definitely key here, and how exactly the user interacts with the cakes.

Do they choose any of the cakes they like? Or are they suggested a cake via some online survey?

Make sure to make the environment larger than the flash workspace so there is room for the camera to pan a bit to give sense of space.

And I agree 100% with Trey about things need to be unified by their aesthetic choices.
